Privacy Policy

Pomo Logger does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Everything stays in your browser, on your device.
What is stored
To make the timer and statistics work, Pomo Logger saves the following in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local):
- Your timer settings (durations, daily goal, sound and notification preferences)
- The activity names you create
- Your distraction-blocker site list
- Your history of completed sessions: date, time, activity and duration
- The current timer state, so it survives closing the popup or restarting the browser
This data never leaves your device and is not synced to any server.
What is not collected
- No accounts or sign-in
- No analytics, tracking, cookies or advertising
- No network requests: the extension does not contact any server
- No reading of your browsing history or the content of the web pages you visit
How permissions are used
- storage saves your settings and session history locally.
- alarms ends sessions on time and updates the toolbar countdown.
- notifications tells you when a session or break ends.
- offscreen plays the end-of-session chime.
- declarativeNetRequest blocks the sites on your own blocklist, only during focus sessions, when you turn the blocker on.
- Optional site access is requested only for the sites you add to your blocklist, so they show a "Stay focused" page instead of an error. You can decline it and the blocker still works.
Your control
- Export your full history to CSV at any time from the Stats tab.
- Delete all history and activities with Reset All Data in the Stats tab.
- Uninstalling the extension removes all of its stored data.
Third parties
No data is shared with third parties. The optional "Support" link opens Buy Me a Coffee in a new tab only if you click it; Pomo Logger sends no information to that site.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
